5 red funky retro alarm clocks
Category: Alarm clocks, Between £20 - £50, Blog, redIt’s often the first thing you see when you wake up in the morning, so it might as well be something pretty! We’ve done a round up of 5 retro alarm clocks we think represent great value for money and inspiring design.
1. Newgate amigo red travel alarm clock
This foldaway clock is a little out of the ordinary and a world away from the ubiquitous digital travel clocks that are so common these days.
Measuring 12cm square, the retro alarm clock has a deep red casing and a simple white face and oversized numerals.
2.Karlsson red rubber digital alarm clock
Here at retrofever we’re unashamed fans of the Karlsson range of clocks, and this cute little red alarm is a steal at just £17.95 from Amazon.
It’s simple to the point of elegance with a light up display operated by a button set into the rubber case. Also available in green, blue and gummy (?) white.
3. Naf Naf Wake Up retro cube digital alarm clock radio
We spotted this eccentric little cube on Amazon recently, and if the 80s lines of this French made clock aren’t enough to get your designer juices flowing, the excellent review by clock enthusiast tells you all you need to know.
The Wake up features a progressive wake up using either radio or alarm and costs £49.95.
4.Newgate ‘Bullitt’ oval red alarm clock
A not to be missed essential for the 50s enthusiast, this unusual shaped clock it simply designed with a coloured acrylic case and stands on small legs. A classic design available from Heals for £35.00.
5. Karlsson Binky Station clock in red
If you’re looking for a great design at a small price, this is a miniature alarm with a big sound but a very small price tag at just £11.99. Designed and made by Dutch design house Karlsson, this is a no frills but quality clock that is great for a trip away or in pride of place on your bedside table. Find out more.

The Karlsson Red Rubber clock looks like a radio/clock currently sitting on my night stand. This seems like a smaller version of it, and if you put it at a corner on a table, you can create a station to decorate the room.
